I've really ignored this thing, haven't I? But in my only and probably lame defense, I've been occupied with adjusting to the changes of transferring here. The school system, not to mention sleep schedule, is a little different but I think I've managed well. But now the term and finals are over, so all I've been really needing to concentrate on is work.

Which reminds me...

There's a group of kouhais who have the potential to go to the dance competition in about two month's time and they're trying to raise the money to go. It's actually a really minor thing, but when presented with the idea, they were psyched about the prospect of going.

And one of the ways they're going to raise money is by having a dancing event that's going to happen next weekend. Entrance fee is only 500 yen, but any donations would be awesome and muchly appreciated. The various groups from the studio are going to show what they got and even offer short sessions on teaching a few moves. Food and beverages will be provided, of course, and once it hits 10pm, things will be taking the more night/dance club scenic, so should be entertaining.

Somehow I got roped into dancing with the main group too, not that I mind, just surprised. After a lot of debating and majority vote, the guys want to do the Korean band, Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry" dance to perform. It looks something like this:


Of course, we're going to throw in a couple of our own moves so it's not a total copy. But I personally like the song, though I do like Super Junior's "It's You" dance more. Ah well, perhaps next time.

Hm~

Another year's gone by, but it didn't feel any different from the time before. Okay... maybe that's a little lie. There was some difference compared to last year.

A few phone calls, some emails and even the old school hand-written letter which I can only guess they received my address from mother all saying the same thing.

It brings bouts of nostalgia when I heard from my friends back in Italy, just as when I heard from my family while I was over there. I wonder if it was selfish of me to wish to be in two places at once. Still, one can only wish~

Getting used to the system here again is a little tougher than I initially thought. After all, I was only away from Japan for two years, yet it seems like I was in Italy for a lifetime. I have my moments, but nothing too drastic. At least I've fixed my sleep schedule somewhat.

I also need to set aside a day to return home and possibly bring back my keyboard. I've tried the music rooms, but... Let's just say they're a bit too busy for my liking. I'll probably have to help father if I do return, but that's more of a plus than a minus.

Griffy-san, I've found a few of your things and set them aside for you. You can come pick them up when you've got the chance.

Adjusting to differing timezones can be a real pain.

It's been a week and I'm still trying to get used to the time here in Japan. So far, I've been up most of the night and sleeping during the day. That's... kinda bad considering I can only do so much during the night. But I'm getting there.

Also, finally managed to set up my computer. I love my laptop, but it's a little restrictive with the things that I want to have done. And I'm no computer whiz either so I don't have all the nifty stuff I could have on it compared to my desktop. Besides, using the laptop, I can work in bed and that tends to make me a little lazy.

And I'd heard I would be getting a roommate, but that didn't last very long since she's moved out... Not complaining though, since I get the room to myself but would have been nice to get to know her better. Another time, maybe.
